Maastricht
Maastricht, a city in the province Limburg, is a city in the south of the Netherlands with a population of over 120,000. Part of the city’s name is named after the nearby river: the Meuse, which is translated in Dutch to ‘Maas’. The city has much old architecture which allows for an entertaining history trip if you interested in the history of the Netherlands. The city is also very close to both Germany and Belgium.
